Draw & delivery
How is the winner picked?
After the postal receipt deadline, we check every paid and accepted postal entry, then freeze the list of eligible tickets. One anonymous ID per eligible ticket (no names or personal details, and no unsold tickets) is sent to RANDOM.ORG's independent Third-Party Draw Service, which picks the winner. We publish the draw time, winning ticket and RANDOM.ORG verification link. There are no redraws behind the scenes.
What if it doesn't sell out?
The advertised prize is guaranteed. The draw goes ahead at the published time however many tickets are sold, as long as there is at least one eligible entry. There's no cash alternative and no extension because of low sales. If there are no eligible entries at all, the competition is handled under the published terms.
What if online tickets sell out?
Postal entries aren't rejected just because online tickets have sold out, and we never go over the advertised maximum entries. Every postcard is logged with the date it arrived. If there's a clash over capacity, we sort it out under the published terms before the draw goes ahead. [Exact rules subject to legal review.]
